Batter-less Apple Cake

Hello Lovelies! Today I’ll be sharing with you a very strange yet delicious and easy to make apple cake which is absolutely batter-less! No eggs, No milk, no water.

Let’s Begin,

Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, semolina and sugar.

Shred apples and add cinnamon (you could use any toppings for the apples like brown sugar, coconut, nuts etc)

sprinkle some of the dry mixture into a baking pan.

top with a little apples.

again top with dry mixture and continue layering until all dry mixtures and apples are used.

Once all mixture is used, shred frozen butter on top and place into a heated oven until browned.

This is how it looks baked through. Yummm…

Cut into slices and serve as is or top with ice cream or cream !

Batter-less Apple Cake Recipe

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar (you could use less or more)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 block frozen butter (enough to cover the top of the cake)

filling

  • 1.5 kg apples
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  1. mix well the dry ingredients

  2. shred apples and add cinnamon

  3. In a baking pan add a little of the dry ingredients and top with apples. continue untill all mixtures are used up.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven until top and bottom are browned.
